Newly Opened Restaurant in Canggu- La Dunia

Hi everyone,

I hope you’re enjoying your special weekend in this lovely island Bali.

Well, as for me, I enjoyed my lazy Sunday at cozy home after my occupied week mostly at outside.　Did some writing, calling my friend etc…, had a very relax time.

Another good thing that happened in this weekend is Yogi tea’s message that I found this morning, it said “I am beautiful, I am bountiful, I am blissful” very beautiful and sweet words, isn’t it?

Today I would like to introduce you newly opened spot in Canggu – La Dunia.

This restaurant is located near DEUS and Monsieur Spoon, so every time I passed this area, I repeated like “I have to try this one! I have to try this one!” and finally my dream came true yesterday.

It was around 17:00 p.m. that we arrived at La Dunia and still got strong afternoon sun. We chose 2nd floor table and it’s fantastic to see the beautiful sparkling chandelier that reflected on sunlight.

I ordered spicy Sri Lanka curry (Rp.85.000++) and for drink chose cleansing smoothie (Rp.30.000++). My friends ordered pasta, burger and pork lib plate for their ones. Our group members were mostly gentlemen but it seems no problem about the volume of dishes. Speaking of healthy smoothies and mocktails, it might be not for everyone’s taste, like maybe someone likes it and someone doesn’t since it is purely made of natural ingredient. I really enjoyed it though…

Lighting up after sunset shows you a different romantic atmosphere.

I heard they have buffet menu at lunch time so next time I should come back for my lunch.　Hope you’ll also try it and like it.

皆さん、こんにちは。

週末はいかがお過ごしでしょうか？

私はここのところ毎日外出の日が続いていたので、日曜日はのんびり家で書きものをしたり、友人と電話としたり・・・のんびりとした時間を楽しんでいます。

そう、今朝のYogi Teaのメッセージがとてもすてきだったので、とても嬉しい気分になりました。「I am beautiful, I am bountiful, I am blissful」（日本語訳：私は美しく、豊かで、最高に幸せ）

さて、今日はCangguの新しいスポット「La Dunia」を紹介したいと思います。DEUSやMonsieur Spoonに近いため、いつも通る度、気になっていたレストラン。昨日ようやくチャンスがあって行ってきましたよ。

お店に着いたのはちょうど夕方の５時頃。私達は２階の席を選んだのですが、ちょうどサンセット時だったため、差し込んだ西日が天井から吊るされたシャンデリアのガラスに反射し、キラキラととても幻想的な雰囲気を放っていました。

私は、スリランカ風のカレー（Rp.85.000++）と緑鮮やかなクレンジングスムージー（Rp.30.000++）を注文。一緒に出かけた友人はパスタ、ポークリブ、ハンバーガーをそれぞれ頼んでいました。男性陣と一緒でしたが、どれも見かけ以上にボリュームもあったよう。スムージー、ヘルシーモクテルは素材の味をそのまま活かしているので、好き嫌い意見が分かれるかもしれませんが、ヘルシー嗜好の私は好きでした。

あたりが暗くなり店内のランプがつき始めると、これまたぐっと落ち着いた雰囲気に変わりおしゃれ。

お昼時間にはビュッフェメニューもあると聞いているので、次はランチの時間にでも行ってみようかな。
